SmaBio Labs is excited to welcome Dr. Bhushan Pattni, PhD, as our Business Development Manager (Consultant). Since February 2025, Bhushan has played a key role in shaping our growth strategy and deepening client partnerships. With over 7 years of experience at the intersection of science and strategy, Bhushan brings a rare blend of scientific expertise and business acumen. His career spans impactful roles at Montai Therapeutics, PureTech Health and Cocoon Biotech, where he led multiple platform and product development initiatives. Bhushan holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School. His innovation mindset is reflected in 5 patent applications and hands-on experience in LNPs, exosomes, hydrogels and novel delivery platforms. He also brings a strong track record in cross-functional leadership - engaging stakeholders, managing collaborations and guiding programs through critical value inflection points. At SmaBio Labs, Bhushan is helping elevate our CDMO offerings by building strategic partnerships that span early formulation through clinical manufacturing. His ability to bridge technical depth with strategic insight makes him an invaluable part of our mission to accelerate innovation for pharma and biotech teams worldwide.
